Meme Lordz Development Update #7
Hello & welcome to the next Meme Lordz development update! Its been an absolutely massive week for the our Lordz team & community with the official announcement of our Bitmart listing!
Aside from pushing through our first centralised exchange listing we have been working hard behind the scenes on our core systems with a large focus on balancing our moves & Lordz stats through the battle system.
This update will primarily concern our token $Lordz which is going through some large changes in utility and function within the Meme Lordz game. All changes will be outlined below, along with some fresh scenes from our battle system and some stunning new map previews!
The $Lordz token
The monumental explosion of the $Lordz token value has propelled us under the spotlight & brought our investors spectacular returns. With new attention and increased passion, we find the utility & function of the $Lordz token has become a focal point of debate among community members and speculators. We deeply appreciate the passion and energy of our community, we appreciate the feedback and critiques even more so!
After taking community feedback onboard, as well as devising new forms of utility for $Lordz, we have some changes to $Lordz role in Meme Lordz and our smart contracts.
$Lordz will now be required to mint NFT’s from in the game. This means users will need BNB to pay for blockchain gas fees & a small $Lordz payment on-top to successfully mint a Meme Lordz NFT after battling & catching them in the game.
This will drive the value of $Lordz up as new users see the value of NFT’s found in the game & subsequently acquire $Lordz from the open market.
Additionally we have decided to restructure the distribution of the minting tax (now in $Lordz)
- 50% of the $Lordz tax will be pooled and redistributed to holders of $Lordz.
- 25% of the $Lordz tax will be permanently burnt from supply.
- 25% of the $Lordz tax will be pooled for ongoing server costs.
These monumental changes drastically increase the utility and demand of $Lordz to match other successful blockchain games, while retaining our unique and complex game mechanics.

Battle System Updates
This weeks progress has been primarily focused on the back end of the battle system, finessing and balancing the 100s of unique moves and there associated stats and values. This is a fine art, involving many hours of test running battle combinations and combing spreadsheets with a fine toothcomb.

Marketing, Community & The Future
We have a very influential partnership to announce tomorrow along with the Bitmart listing so keep your eyes peel because this will be huge! Along with this we have streamers ready to preview our Alpha version once we are happy with it :D
In the next medium update we hope to give some more concrete dates for our Alpha and Beta releases so get hyped :D
We have noticed our community growing very rapidly and will be hosting a fresh AMA very soon to field any questions from new community members & are always looking for new mods and passionate Lordz keen to spread the good word.
